Fen Violet

“Fen Violet" is an in progress comic project set in medieval-like fens and inspired by transformations in folktales and dreams. It is an exploration of transformation, the liminality of queerness, otherness and connection to the environment.

A small violet is plucked from the peat and undergoes a transformation into a lesbian. While trying to settle into their new life, the visions they encounter in the water are strange and tell tales of other transformations like their own.
